After two years of forming the band in 2019, Li Wangnian (vocals/guitar), Li Zining (guitar), Niaoyu (drums), and Sun Jiajing (bass), with the assistance of producer Yangfan (Hanging on the Box, Ourself Beside Me, TOW), have finally managed to organise the story fragments into their ten-chapter self-titled 'film collage'. Following the rise and fall of the emotional nuances, you will hear the simple rhythms of drums and bass, the interweaving dual guitar melodies, male and female harmonies, and feel the staggered song structure through your body - Salty Tomorrow is subservient to the straightforward thrill of subtle design, premeditatedly piercing the day-to-day imageries with their post-punk raggedness; the crescendos, variations, and unexpected rhythmic changes become contradictory senses of warmth and coldness, which flow unnoticedly through the pulsing fingertips of the listeners.

组建两年，明天的盐在制作人杨帆（挂在盒子上、Ourself Beside Me 和 TOW）的协助下，将故事碎片整理成辑，以十个“章回”构成一部名为《明天的盐》的“影片”。伴随十段情感的细微沉浮，你会听到鼓和贝斯的简约律动、双吉他旋律的交织、男女和声，并通过身体感受到错落有致的歌曲结构——明天的盐服从于精巧设计带来的直白快感，有预谋地用声音棱角刺破单纯的意象，让铺陈、变奏和猝不及防的节奏变化，成为听者打着拍子的指尖、隐隐能感到的冷感和温度。

About Salty Tomorrow:

Salty Tomorrow, formed in Hangzhou in the spring of 2019, released their first self-titled album under bié Records in 2021. The post-punkish songs with twists and turns are the embodiment of the realistic encounters and emotions of their daily lives, which have detailed yet chopped up narrative, shadowy scenes, and blurred endings, like Carver-esque stories.
